This week has been pretty good, we put our friend Rodney on date to be baptized! And then the next day we found out he had moved out of our zone so now we have to pass him off, it's a little sad but we are excited he is going to get baptized!!
We found a couple of new friends this week, Cindy and Grace. Cindy is praying about baptism and we are working with Grace to do the same! We are really excited to meet with them tonight.
We are over all the sisters in our zone and we got a call Thursday night from Sister Taylor telling us that it was her companion's birthday on Friday. We got pretty excited and, after a meeting Friday morning, we went over to their apartment to give Sister Cummings her birthday present but they weren't home! So we went around the back where the fence was and it was locked. We decided at that point that hopping the fence was probably our only option, which let me tell you, in a dress, that was not easy. The fence was about 6.5 ft tall so I kinda had to get a running jump at it. There was a little handle that helped me get up but I didn't quite make it over the fence because my dress got caught so I ended up hanging over the gate and unlocking it that way, then Sister Ray helped me get down. After dropping off the gift, we decided that the sisters could lock the gate themselves because I was not about to try jumping it again. So that was my adventure this week!
