Arianna's Baptism

Hello everyone!

This week we officially passed Brother Jones off to the sisters in his area.  It was pretty sad for Sister Ray and I.  We do have a mildly funny story.  We put our friend Grace on date Saturday night and after her lesson, we had a thought to make sure she was in our area because she gave us the new address she'd moved to about a month ago.  Guess what! She's not in our area either!! So now we have to pass her off too.  We can't seem to catch a break with all our friends moving. That's the third time this transfer...

Let's see, we got pretty hard core bashed and rejected this week so I don't really have a ton of stories this week. We did go to a high rise building and got kicked out pretty fast so that's kind of funny.  It was Sister Ray's first time getting kicked out, needless to say, she did not enjoy the experience!

We did get to go do service this week! That is always fun.  We love being able to talk to different people and get to know them!  We also got to serve with the hermana's!  I know Hermana Cella from a while back in my mission so it was really fun to see her again.

We had an AMAZING member lesson this week with Ted and Kaelee!  They are recent converts/returning members and we taught them about the temple so they have made it a goal to get their recommends so they can be sealed!!  We are SO excited for them.

We met a new girl named Arianna this week.  She is the literal cutest!  She got baptized yesterday and is moving into our ward today.  We got to do a few pass off lessons this last week and go to her baptism yesterday!! We are so excited to teach her the new member lessons!! She was also so cute when we talked with her yesterday, she has two daughters that she is excited to raise in the gospel so they can become missionaries and teach people truth too. It was such a miracle that we were able to go to her baptism because she was 30 minutes outside of our area so we weren't sure we were going to be able to go! A neat backstory to this is that at the very beginning of the transfer, Sister Ray and I prayed that we would be able to help someone get baptized and see it happen.  We found Brother Jones and he was SO prepared.  We were excited because we felt like God answered our prayers and we worked really hard to help him be ready for baptism in a few weeks then we found out he was in a different area. We felt mildly betrayed and really sad that we wouldn't have a baptism but then a pair of sisters called and told us we were getting Arianna!  They had already done all the work to prepare her for baptism but at the baptism last night we were so happy to see her and God answered our prayers even though it was not the way we were thinking/planning on.

Pictures this week:
Us with Grace.
She used a makeup filter that makes me look quite creepy but I think it's hilarious!

Leadership requires a lot of google sheets, calling people, and accountability so we thought we'd take a picture to remember

 Love you all, Sister Creager
