Hello everyone!

I got transferred! Ironically I live 5 minutes away from my Shirlington apartment, haha! I am now living in Alexandria and I get to serve with Sister Eller!! She just got out of training and she was trained by my old companion, Sister Lungren. So that's a fun connection!

This week has been soooooo busy. We got our first thunderstorm on Tuesday and it poured! We also had our mission wide zoom call where they give us updates. We didn't really get any new instruction so nothing to report there.

Wednesday we got to have interviews with President Duckworth. Which It's kind of funny because I'm in a new area and they have interviews this week so it will literally be a week since I saw President Duckworth!

We also got to have an in-person lesson with our ward mission leader!! It was so fun!! I love teaching in person.

We met with Garrett this week. His lessons are going well-he wants us to "slap him in the face with doctrine" so we are helping him develop more faith. It wasn't quite the slap he wanted but oh well! We teach what the spirit says to teach!

Thursday we had zone conference. Sister Thomas and I had to give a training so I studied all week for it. Zone conference was really fun!! We presented last and at first I was really worried because the way we prepared our presentation was not even close to how everyone else did it. As you all know, I love to have fun and so we had a few games in our presentation for the zones to play to help them understand how to rely on the spirit. I was really worried that our presentation was going to disrupt the spirit that was there but it was a success! Everyone had fun and we were able to bring it back to a more reverent tone afterwards.

We did our last exchange on Saturday. I went with Sister Arnold and Sister Boll went with Sister Thomas. It was really fun! We did a lot of contacting and set up a bunch of lessons.
