Hello!

Hello everyone!

This week has been pretty busy with meetings but it's been really good!

We got to meet with Garrett this week!! He has had a lot happening in his life so it's taken a while for him to be able to meet with us again.  But he is doing good! We have been teaching him how to feel the spirit and it has been one heck of a ride because he doesn't trust his feelings.  We challenged him last time to pay attention to his feelings whenever he did things like praying, reading, etc. He actually felt the spirit a lot doing that and really liked it!

We finally got to meet with Taylor again!! We have been trying to meet with her for a month but because she is in school, it has made it really difficult.  She is really curious about baptism and we are excited to teach her more about it this week!

We also got a self referral, Suzanna, and she is sooo nice! She is interested in learning more about the gospel which is really exciting because usually our self referrals have changed their mind by the time we call them even though we try to get ahold of them in less than 12 hours after we receive the email. We are really excited to keep teaching her.

We got to serve at Arlington Cemetery again and that was really fun! Sister Haney and Sister McCleve are the other sisters that work there with us and Sister Haney and I have a lot in common! She loves horses so I look forward to Wednesdays because we sit and talk all about horses and training for 3 hours! Plus we get to be out in the dirt so horses and dirt equals heaven on earth! Most of you know I have a pretty big fear of spiders.  I have never met anyone whose fear has exceeded mine.  But Sister Haney has me beat! She jumped up and ran away screaming from the spider, which in all fairness was huge, and got the attention of the ranger on duty.  We got a good laugh from that!

Okay, we finally got our old phone number back which we were soo glad!  They just remade our SIM card so all is well! The mission office was even able to find a spare phone for me to use which is a blessing because my tablet is a little bulky to carry around!

Tuesday we worked at Habitat and did a lot of heavy lifting.  I guess I sprained my wrist a few weeks before that playing Ultimate Frisbee because by the time we were done working I couldn't even pick up a glass of water.  So now I've got a brace! It should be healed up in a month or two though so I'll be good!
Friday we had MLC (mission leadership council) in person and it was so fun!!!!!  I got to see a lot of old companions! Including Sister Lloyd who has been one of my favorite companions and this was the first time I've seen her in 10.5 months!!  It was so fun to see her before she goes home in a few weeks.  I've missed her!

Saturday we spent a good chunk calling people and it was pretty funny because we called a lot of members in our wards.  We had quite a few people not recognize our phone number so when we introduced ourselves they would say "Oh no" and hang up on us.  It was pretty funny and on the bright side they hung up instead of yelling at us which I will take any day!

I think that is it for this week, I love you all!
