Hello hello all!! This week has been a little slow but not bad!
We got to serve at Habitat and the manager, Sonny, is funny because he likes to pair us with different sisters so we get to do mini exchanges which is fun! We did a lot of desk lifting and bed putting together. AND I got to use a drill! It's been soo long and I have a love for drills.
Some of you may find this funny so I'll share. My mom sent me my rope a while ago and we used it to make a Facebook video a few weeks back. Well our zone leaders got the bright idea to have me rope at zone conference. I told them absolutely not! They don't really take no for answer so we came to an agreement. I don't have to rope in zone conference if we will come early and show them I can rope. So I'm not really out of it, but I'd rather do that than rope in front of everyone!
It has been soooooo warm! We got to go to Arlington again and pull mugwort which was a lot easier this time! There isn't a lot to tell because we pulled weeds the whole time but we did have fun.
We got to have a lesson with Garrett! We still haven't finished teaching the law of chastity because he has so many questions about it but he is coming along. He is the cutest though because he apologized for not being ready for baptism yet (we haven't even brought it up yet) and then he told us he used to try to trip "mormons" up and he said he wanted to apologize for doing that because we have a lot more answers than he does right now. Love him!
We met a new friend this week, her name is Deborah! She is the cutest older lady. She has a very strong belief in God and loves to read from the Book of Mormon! We are so excited to be able to teach her!
Ohh this was fun. We had a lady call us this week and ask us how she could parent her 14 yr old son. Surprisingly, we get a lot of parenting questions as missionaries. We set up a lesson on Saturday so we could get to know them but it fell through, sadly.
Saturday we got to have exchanges!! I went with Sister Lewis. I was excited because we came out together and I have only seen her twice before our exchange! It was so much fun. We got to have lessons with some of their recent converts and it was a blast!
I think that is about it for this week, see y'all next week!
