Trio

Hello all!! This week has been really busy but sooo good!

Last Monday we went and picked up Sister Roberts from Vint Hill and dropped Sister Smith off. Sister Roberts is from Kansas and has been here for 3 months. She was originally assigned to Japan but D.C. South is her reassignment. I'm excited to train with her! We got Sister Cole around 6pm and got to be in a quad until Wednesday.
In our bedroom, we only have three beds so Sister Wiscombe was going to sleep out on the couch. Well mission rules are that you have to sleep in the same room as your companion so I pulled my mattress into the living room and camped out there while she was here.

Tuesday we got to go to the mission home so that Sister Wiscombe could have an interview! It was so fun to be there again, I haven't been for a long time! It was also great to see the Duckworths in person again!

Wednesday a senior missionary couple came to pick Sister Wiscombe up at 6am so we were up by 5:30am to help her check the weight to her luggage and make sure she hadn't left anything. I must have been a missionary too long because when we took her luggage outside, I was totally embarrassed that I wasn't in a skirt/dress and that Elder Pulsepher and Elder Prince (he was going home too) saw me in my basketball shorts! Even though it is totally allowed to wear those on P-day to district activities. I couldn't go back to sleep after that so I studied until the alarm went off at 6:30am. Then we had trainings for Sister Cole later that morning. We also got a new district leader, and I'm so excited because its Elder Holden!! He was my old district leader in Woodbridge and is amazing!

Friday we were able to go to House of Mercy and we sorted through clothes. And had more trainings for Sister Cole!
We are almost whitewashing the area because Sister Roberts and Sister Cole are both new and I haven't been here very long either so we are figuring out how to work our area. It's been a little frustrating because the previous sisters were not very obedient so we have to work really hard to repair the area which is difficult to do when we don't know much about it!  But it will work out!

Saturday we got approved to help at a blood drive. We sat and took people's temperatures and signed them in. We played a game called transitions while we sat waiting for people to come. Basically you point at an object and you have to use it as an example to transition to the gospel. We figured out we were pretty good at it when we had to use manure to talk about the gospel!

It has been soooo cold this week so instead of going outside a lot, we have dance parties instead to wake us up! It's fun and we laugh a lot.

I love my new companions and I'm so excited to work with them and make our area prosper!

Okay for pictures this week: We went to chick-fil-a to celebrate/cry that I'm already at 9 months from the MTC (saadddd!!!!), us at the mission home and us with Sister Duckworth, us in a quad over zoom (we had to ask the AP's to take a picture for us because we were struggling on our end), Sister Cole and I at House of Mercy, all the sisters in our zone at House of Mercy, us freezing together on the couch, and I think that's about it. My comps are really good at taking pictures so sorry if this is an overload!
Love you all!
Sister Creager
