This week has been crazy busy! Sister Wiscombe goes home this Wednesday and we found out that Sister Smith is getting transferred today. I only know my way to two places, the church and House of Mercy so we will see how this transfer goes!
We had zone conference this week and got to meet the Duckworths! It was a little embarrassing because we went to the wrong building... We were supposed to be 20 minutes early but by the time we got to the right building we were 15 minutes late. Whoops. We ran hard into the building and into what we thought was the back door to the gym, well it was actually the front so we made quite an entrance in front of our whole zone, the AP's, annndddd the new mission president. We apologized profusely for our tardiness and then glared at our district leader for not telling us the right building! We did forgive him though!
Also, we got a new car! It's a Chevy Equinox and soooo nice! It only had 28 miles on it when we got it. So that is exciting! I am also the designated driver as of right now. I hope it stays that way for a bit!
We found a new friend! He is from Egypt and has had a really hard life. He asked us why God stopped calling prophets and we were able to share the restoration with him! He loves meeting with us and we have been sharing the Book of Mormon videos with him!
Saturday night we got transfer board and I get to trio train with Sister Roberts! Our newbie is Sister Cole, she will get here later tonight. This will be my third time training so I'm not nervous about it anymore!
We got to go to church with the whole ward yesterday!!!! It was amazing! It's been sooooo long since we have been able to do that! We had a lady at church ask us to sing the third verse to "We'll Bring the World His Truth" and let me tell you, we cannot sing anymore! It took us five tries to get it good enough to send in! Hopefully the spirit will make people deaf..
We did service this week and found out that the zone leaders have been holding out on us!! They go to a farm every week and help plant/gather crops and I was like what??!!!? But it's okay, we will take whatever service we can get!
Today has been busy packing and cleaning for the new sisters. We are going to be in a quad for a bit but we are excited! I have spent a good chunk of my mission in trios and they are fun!
Okay for pictures this week, we have our whole zone, we are in the very very back corner by the door, a potato exploded in the oven-I didn't know they could do that, our district with the Caplins before they left, us with our new car, all the sisters in our zone, and us today!
