Hello!

Hi everyone!

This week has been pretty slow although we have been able to see a few miracles here and there which have been great!

So this transfer I've been working on patient. I can hear all of you laughing at me because you know that's an attribute I lack. Hence the reason I'm working on it. BUT my zipper to my suitcase has been broken and it's made it a pill for transfers and moving around. So I called my dad a while ago and he told me how to fix it. I started taking the seams apart that cover the end of the zipper and I took the slider off. Well hoooolllyyyy cow, it took FOREVER to try and get the slider to go back onto the zipper because of how bad the ends were frayed. I was starting to get a little frustrated because I had been working on this for like 30 minutes. So I said a prayer and asked God to help me be patient and to help me get the slider on. I did end up exercising patience as well as fixing my suitcase!
Ronnie and Rose are doing amazing!! Ronnie has had a lack of interest in the past but he told us last week that he believed everything we said because he could see how sincere we were. That was nice and we have plans to teach him about the Holy Ghost next round! They are doing so good and every lesson is so fun with them!

We have been serving at House of Mercy for two months and while I love serving, I was a little sick of sorting clothes so Heavenly Father blessed Sister Cole and I to be able to clean out the kitchen section instead! We got to throw soooo much glass in the dumpster and it was a blast!

I lost my name tag and though I have another one, I'm very attached to my original. I kept getting the promoting to go to our car but I ignored it because we hadn't been out to the car at all that day. I am ashamed to say I was told to go check the car 3 more times before I gave in and went to grab my jacket where I found my name tag... the lesson here is listen to the spirit the first time!!

We have been praying to know how to help our friend Kerollos. When we called him the other night, he told us he had witnessed a shooting and was having a really hard time. That wasn't quite the "in" we were expecting for teaching the Plan of Salvation but it worked and we were able to set up another lesson on Thursday!

Last night we were finishing up a lesson when we heard a loud bang from our bedroom. We all jumped and I ran to look in the hallway to see if anyone was coming to murder us. There wasn't so I sat back down, we said a prayer and ended the lesson. We were all still really nervous because it sounded like someone had broke into our apartment so I grabbed a kitchen knife and my two companions grabbed a water bottle and a sticky note pad... it's a good thing we have the Lord's protection. Anyways, when we got to our room and peeked around the corner we saw that our window had fallen in because of the wind outside! So we fixed it and that was that. It did make us jump a bit though.

Today we had our district activity in the 47° yet feels like 28° windy weather. It was soooooo cold but we played ultimate frisbee with a rugby ball and some speed, (lightning, knock out, what ever you know it by) and it was lots of fun and we got pretty muddy!

I love you all!
