Hello hello!!
Okay so this week has been a little crazy!
So we did exchanges again and this time I was with Sister Mainord and Sister Smith (previous companion). We had planned to be done with exchanges by 7 PM but the other sisters were running late so we ended up teaching Rose and Ronnie on the spot and it actually went pretty good considering it has been a long time since I have taught with Sister Smith and I have never taught a lesson with Sister Mainord before. We were a little nervous but we had the spirit and that was good!
We had a surprise visit from the AP's this week at district council. They came to watch how we all teach and that was really scary because they are insanely good teachers! But they liked what they saw so our district didn't really get a lot of heat thank heavens!!
On Thursday morning Elder Ford (AP) called us and said that Sister Roberts was getting transferred to Mt. Vernon. We were pretty surprised because transfers aren't happening until next Tuesday! But he told us that she had to be there on Friday so to figure out the logistics with the other sisters. We had an insane day full of member visits and lessons so Sister Roberts had to pack in between lessons and during dinner so that she could be ready to go by 8:30am the next morning. Friday we met the Mt. Vernon sisters and switched Sister Roberts for Sister Price! Sister Price is great but she isn't done training yet. So I will be finishing her training as well as finishing Sister Cole's training. I was a little nervous at first but Sister Price's first trainer did a wonderful job so there isn't a lot I have to do to finish her up which is nice! But I was a little stressed out the first few days!
We were able to find a couple new people this week to teach! One is a man named Bob. His wife doesn't approve of him being taught by us and we found out that he was hiding his "investigator/friend" status from her. We aren't allowed to teach someone without the consent of their spouse so pray for Bob's wife's heart to be softened so that we can teach them both!!
Last night we had a lesson with Rose and Ronnie and it was SO GOOD! We taught them about baptism. We spent an hour covering the doctrine because they had a lot of questions about infant baptism and baptism by immersion and things like that. We think that within the next couple of lessons, we could put them on date to be baptized!!
I love you all! Being a missionary is the best!!
