"Thank You For Helping Me Tell The Sisters What Pot Is"

Hello! Okay, I'll be honest. I didn't think I would miss the MTC and I was really anxious to leave. But I miss it! Not really the MTC itself, but my companions, teachers, and my district. But it's okay! It was awesome while I was there and I loved my district.

So I have two companions, Sister Pugmire, from Kaysville, UT, and Sister Ray, from Preston, ID. We are all blonde so that's kinda funny. They are super fun and really obedient which is great!
I am in Woodbridge, Virginia and its really green here. Kinda cold because of the wind but not too bad.
I have met people from Nigeria, England, Ethiopia, Africa, Pakistan, and more! There is a lot of diversity here which is cool.

So we are teaching a recent concert named Kayla, she is super sweet but she didn't understand that smoking weed is against the word of wisdom. We explained that to her and then asked her a few questions about weed that we didn't quite understand. She was very surprised to know that me and Sister Pugmire hadn't even smelled it until we came here. So she very thoroughly educated us on weed and then when she prayed, she said "Thank you for helping me teach the sisters about weed." So that was kinda funny.
We found a phone outside a townhouse and returned it to this really nice lady. She had a lot of questions for us about our church and then she got a booklet from her shelf that describes different religions in it. The things written about our church's beliefs were mostly wrong so she invited us back which I'm glad for.

We met a very sweet lady named Jennifer and she has been looking to have a good relationship with God and is very open to us teaching her. She cried during our first lesson. It was pretty cool.
I got to Virginia at 4pm on Monday, after having only a couple hours' sleep at the MTC Sunday night so it took till Saturday for me to get over the jet lag. So that wasn't super fun but it's still been good. Not gonna lie, I'm kinda disappointed that its P-Day because I just want to get out and work! But it lasts until 6 then we can go back to work.
I've only met two people here who like horses! Its depressing. I've also discovered that I really miss the dust from horses running around me.

Everyone here has dogs or cats instead of children. Most families have 2-5 kids. But 5 kids is a lot here.

It was Sister Ray's birthday on Sunday so we got a lot of people to come to church by telling them it was her birthday so they had to come for her. It worked quite well.
Anyways, gotta run.

Later! Sister Creager
