Last One!

Hello everyone! Wow, this is the last e-mail I will send out. Time has flown by!

This week has been fabulous! Sister Ray and I threw ourselves into the work (as much as we could-she got pretty sick) and found 8 new friends! We have seen so many miracles. This e-mail would be forever long if I wrote about all of them so I'll pick a few to talk about.

Tuesday we got a call from some elders and they are passing off a friend to us who is ready for baptism!! Her name is Loretta and she is the cutest! We got to meet with her and she is so excited to pick a date to be baptized.  We also got a TON of phone numbers from people. Being in COVID has made it a lot more important to me to get as many numbers as we possibly can in case being stuck inside ever happens again.

We have been finding a TON of people that speak Spanish which is a slight issue because we don't speak Spanish at all. But the Spanish elders have been finding a lot of people that speak English so we have been getting and giving so many referrals!! It's been so fun and we have found a couple families because of that!
We ran into the Spanish elders while tracting!

We get to spend almost all day outside working and it has been such a blessing to be outside again!! I'm really excited that missionaries can go out.
Wednesday Sister Ray got really sick with a head cold which we thought at first was COVID so the mission office sent us to Urgent Care. It was soooooo sllooowww. We were there for 3-4 hours. But she didn't have COVID so that was good! I had my last ever district council and it was really fun. There is another elder (Elder Martin) that is going home with me so our district thought it would be funny to do a "death" picture because we are both leaving. It was pretty fun.
We met a really sweet man named Claudio! He was from Venezuela and was a little hesitant to give us his phone number. I told him my dad had been a missionary in Venezuela just like us and loved it there. After he realized missionaries are in his home country too, we got his number and passed him off to the Spanish elders and he is doing fantastic!! Thanks Dad!

We got to meet with Arianna this week!! She is so excited to share the Book of Mormon with everyone and doesn't understand why people don't accept it.  We were pretty excited to share 2 Nephi 29 which explains the answer to her question and she was like "This is exactly what people say to me!! It's so frustrating!" We were like "WE KNOW!!"  So she is going to be an awesome member missionary.  She was really cute on Sunday. She wanted to bear her testimony but was really nervous because it was her first time attending our ward so I went up with her and she did so good!! Proud mom moment.

We have had a really good week and I'm really sad to leave VA. There have been a lot of miracles pouring in this last week and it will be sad to not be a part of it anymore. But I am SO grateful that I had the opportunity to serve the Lord and gain a better relationship with Him.

I'll see you all later!
